In recognition of his distinguished contributions to the field of literature, the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Department of Language and Culture conferred the 'Sri Manmadhanama Samvatsara Ugadi Puraskaram-2015' upon Mondepu Prasad.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh, the Andhra Pradesh State Creativity and Culture Commission, and the Amarajivi Potti Sriramulu Memorial Building Management Committee (Chennai) presented an award to Mondepu Prasad on International Mother Language Day (February 21, 2019) in recognition of his services to the Telugu language.
Mondepu Prasad cemented his position as a great short story writer by winning the prestigious Swathi Anil Award for the second time in 2021 for his story, "Social Media Following – Monopoly Aatalo Dabbu" (Social Media Following – Money in the Game of Monopoly).
With the aim of imparting Indian values to the youth, he authored works such as "The Path Shown by the Bhagavad Gita to the Youth," "Sundarakanda – Principles of Success," "Success Mantras from Vemana," "The Art of Communication from Udyoga Parva," "Subhashitas from the Bhagavatam," "Values and Success Principles for Youth from the Ramayana," and "Subhashitas from the Devi Bhagavatam."
